Fall...

This weekend we went to my parents home to watch conference. We had a great time playing in the leaves with my nieces and nephews! I love fall. I like all of the seasons, really. It's just nice to have a change from the hot weather!

Haircut

Well yesterday Kristin had her Basic Life Support class again so Corbin was with the babysitter for the day. She has spent some time in a cosmetology school and had told us that she would give Corbin a haircut if we would like. She told Kristin that she was going to cut it with a 2 which is pretty short. That's the length that I would like my hair to be. Here is a picture of the new and improved Corbin!

WE LOVE BOXES!!

Corbin really loves to be in boxes or any other tight area for that matter. He is always trying to climb into or onto something. He really loves to go behind our couches...especially the loveseat. He can crawl all the way through and come out of the other side.

Abusive babies...

I have been taking a critical care class for work for the past few weeks. I am half-way into the course and it has been rough for me and Corbie. I have been having family and friends watch him while I am gone all day and he has not been handling it well. Today when I got home, he wanted me to pick him up, then he proceeded to hit me three times. When he was done abusing me, he ran to Shaelyn (our babysitter for the day) and wanted her to hold him. It made me feel so bad! He cried and cried when she left and wouldn't have anything to do with me for a while. I cried, too! We have since made amends and he assures me that I am still his favorite girl in the world.

TEETH!

Well we are now the proud parents of a 1 year old boy with teeth...well a tooth. One of his bottom teeth finally broke through Monday morning. More of his white friends appear to be on the way. Last night was a really rough night. We tried unsuccessfully to put him to bed on 3 different occasions. Each time he would just seem like he was almost asleep and then the next thing we knew he was screaming at the top of his lungs again. We tried feeding him, holding him, letting him run around...nothing worked. We finally doped him up with some baby ibuprofen and orajel and put him to bed. Mind you this is about 11:30 and we are all exhausted. But it seemed to work. He slept the rest of the night without anything eventful happening so we were all happy!
